VILLA ADRIANA, is the largest and most splendid of the Imperial Roman villas.
Extraordinary was the wealth of architectural and sculptural decoration of the villa: despite being stripped of the most valuable works, now kept in major museums of Rome and the world, one is still impressed by the sophistication of the floors and walls of colored marble inlay (opus sectile), of which there are splendid examples.

In the VATICAN PALACE is allowed access to the Raphael Rooms, decorated with wonderful paintings that the artist created between 1508 and 1524.
But the main attraction is the Sistine Chapel, a wonderful masterpiece whose realization helped artists such as Perugino, Botticelli, Rosselli and Ghirlandaio. The project's most famous, however, is undoubtedly that of Michelangelo who decorated the time and realized the Last Judgement behind the altar.
