OVERVIEW:
Explore ROME, World Heritage by Unesco in 1990, the pearl of Italy, the capital and home to some of the most beautiful treasures of the country.
The history and art were not protagonist but participate and modelers.
Visiting ROME leads us to discover famous monuments such as the Colosseum, the Trevi Fountain and the Roman Forum to name a few.
Known throughout the world the St. Peter's Cathedral (the largest church in the world), is the symbol of Christianity and Rome and its artistic and cultural continuity is in the State of the Vatican, an independent state, and by 1377 it is the residence of the Popes.
ROME the heart of Catholic Christianity, is the only city in the world to host an internal entire state, the enclave of Vatican City: for this reason it is often called the capital of two states, and also called ETERNAL CITY.
Your journey continues in the region UMBRIA, called "the green heart of Italy", where you will find the natural environment, historical and spiritual landscape.
You can find villages full of history and culture, museums of international and masterpieces of religious architecture.

Day by Day Itinerary suggested:

DAY 1: ROME
Arrival at Fiumicino International Airport, and transfer to the Hotel.
We do not suggest any activities the first day due to the jet leg.
Free at leisure to discover Rome on your own.
Lunch & Dinner by your own, the driver/guide will suggest a typical Restaurant.
Overnight at the Hotel in ROME.

DAY 2: ROME
After Breakfast, pick up from your Hotel meet your private guide for discovering ROME.
We have the keys to open the city, you are spoiled for choice.
You can visit: churches, monuments, museums, exhibitions, shopping.

DAY 3: ROME
After Breakfast, pick up from your Hotel meet your private guide for discovering ROME.

DAY 4: ROME > ORVIETO > MARMORE FALLS > SPOLETO-FOLIGNO > ASSISI
After Breakfast - check out, pick up from your Hotel and depart with your private driver/guide toward the central-norther part of Italy (Umbria) one of the greenest areas in Italy with beautiful small typical and historical cities and villages.
After a couple of hours driving, visit the unique small city of ORVIETO, the site of the city is among the most dramatic in Europe, rising above the almost-vertical faces of tuff cliffs that are completed by defensive walls built of the same stone called Tufa.
Classic Tour: Pozzo San Patrizio, Fortezza Albomoz, Corso Cavour, Duomo, Torre del Moro (external), piazza del Popolo e Palazzo (external), Chiesa S.Andrea, Passeggiata verso San Giovenale.
After the visit proceed inside the green Umbria, stop for the Lunch, the driver/guide will suggest you typical Trattoria tasting the authentic regional food.
After Lunch in the afternoon proceed to the beautiful MARMORE FALLS, is not only visit to the highest jump of Europe. It 'a lot more.
Who loves nature, the Falls is a wonderful place to visit. You can spend a day in the park, or "simply" enjoy of fascination made by the fall of waters, doing the services available.
In the late afternoon continue the tour to ASSISI visiting SPOLETO, placed strategically on the ancient Via Flaminia, SPOLETO amazes visitors for the richness of its Romanesque churches and the testimonies of Umbrian-Roman, significant urban center, and FOLIGNO, to discover the historical center of palaces and splendid Romanesque facades.
After the visit proceed to reach one of most famous and religious sites in Italy: ASSISI.

DAY 5: ASSISI > PERUGIA
ASSISI: After breakfast, meet your private English guide visit the medieval small city and the major churches related to San Francesco for about 2 hours and half:
Classic Tour: the Basilica of St. Francis, the symbol of Christianity, recounts the life of St. Francis, through the frescoes by Cimabue and, above all, the celebrated cycle of the life of St. Francis, by Giotto; the Basilica of St. Claire houses the Crucifixion which, according to tradition, spoke to St. Francis.
After the visit proceed to PERUGIA, you will stop for lunch at a local restaurant, arrival in the afternoon a start the visit of the Renaissance city.
Lifted by a hill above a valley patterned with fields, where the Tiber River runs swift and clear, Perugia is Umbria's petite and immediately likable capital. Its centro storico (historic centre) rises in a helter-skelter of cobbled alleys, arched stairways and piazzas framed by magnificent palazzi (mansions).
History seeps through every shadowy corner of these streets and an aimless wander through them can feel like time travel.
This city is already well renomated about its regional food!!!!

DAY 6: PERUGIA> LAKE TRASIMENO > ROME
After Breakfast - check out, pick up from your Hotel with your private driver/guide, spend a day on the Trasimeno Lake.
Lake Trasimeno is immersed in a lovely environment, surrounded by green rolling hills. The Etruscan people settled around the lake and established their sophisticated culture there. In 217 b. C. Hannibal, the Carthaginian general, on the northern shore of Tuoro dramatically defeated the Roman army.
During the Middle Ages it became to be known as “the lake of Perugia”: as a matter of fact the larger city submitted the small villages and the islands of the lake, that were turned into lucrative properties since the 12th century, providing fish and wheat.
The charming view of Trasimeno became an ideal element for the backdrops of many Renaissance painters, namely “Il Perugino”.
Today it is a favourite place for both locals and foreigners who enjoy the calm and beauty of the lake and its surroundings.
Continue the journey to Rome. Dinner and overnight at the Hotel in Rome.

DAY 7: ROME
Breakfasts in Hotel and check-out of your rooms. Your journey continues to other destinations.
